Lord Henry Hansen von Ottenbreit is a rare example of a multi-instrumentalist musician whose educational background included full classical studies and training for many years in piano, trumpet, guitar, composition, arrangement and conducting, to which he has obtained master degrees. As a jazz pianist-keyboardist he has established himself as one of the best jazz musicians on the international scene today. He has been the winner of and given unrivalled professional performances at many festivals in Europe and other territories, such as the International Jazz Piano Festival, Kalisz in Poland, and the Arctic Border Jazz/Blues Festival, Kirkenes, Nikez and Murmansk, which was recorded for worldwide TV transmission by TV companies in the USA, Finland, Russia, Sweden and other countries. He has worked with many other international musicians of repute, such as Freddie Hubbard on his major tour of Europe and Scandinavia. As a multi-jazz instrumentalist, he has toured and performed in many countries, such as Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Norway, Poland, Russia, France, to name but a few. His songs and performances are captured on many recordings as a pianist, trumpeter, bassist, guitarist and keyboardist. His musical talents have been provided for sessions as a musical soloist, composer, arranger for film, radio, TV, big band, symphony orchestra in Katowice, Poland. As a composer, he creates music for films, ballet, TV, radio, from works for chamber orchestra, string quartet, big band, symphony orchestra to progressive jazz, light funk, rock and electronic pieces. As an instructor-lecturer of improvisation he has been invited to several academies of music in many places in the USA, Europe and Scandinavia, such as the International Meeting for Professional Musicians in Detroit, USA, and Alta in Norway.
